Dr. J. Kang graduated from dental school, trained in Prosthodontics and finished his Ph.D. course in Seoul, Korea. Afterwards, he started his own dental clinic in Seoul where he practiced for many years. While he was running his own clinic, he also taught Prosthodontics and Implantology at dental and dental hygiene school for several years in Korea. Currently, Dr. Kang continues to teach as a clinical instructor at UBC and returns to Korea twice a year to teach clinical skills to dentists in Korea. His comprehensive knowledge, experiences with complicated cases, and his gentle hands are his strongest merits. Patient’s ultimate comfort and long term treatment success is what Dr. Kang strives for in his practice. In his leisure time, Dr. Kang enjoys hiking and travelling.

Dr. Sungjoon Lee graduated from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. He completed residency at Yonsei University dental hospital and is a Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry in Korea, with special knowledge and skills of treating children. He studied Orthodontics in Graduate School of Clinical Dental Science at The Catholic University of Korea and received a Master’s degree in Orthodontics. He then completed his Doctor’s degree of Paediatric Dentistry at Yonsei University. He owns a clinic in Seoul which he established in 2001. He has treated numerous dental cases of children and has had many successful orthodontic cases focusing on growth and development.

Dr. Chang has treated more than 20000 patients with extremely diverse and challenging dental problems in various circumstances. He has had at least more than 5000 implants placed successfully, as well as numerous extraction cases of wisdom teeth. He is particularly interested in difficult and complicated cases and really concentrates on the reconstruction of chewing function, long-term stability, and aesthetic outcomes in the whole oral and facial perspectives. He also enjoys hiking, traveling, and playing the drums.
